NEW SOCKBOY COLLABORATION PLANS
Sockboy is planning to hook up with singer Cierra to work on a collaboration album, Sockboy said "Cierra and I discussed the matter a few days ago, we both think it's a good and interesting idea, I am really looking forawrd to it". SOCKBOY PLANNING TO RELASE DVD
Hello fellow Sockboy fans, Sockboy has already started planning on releasing a DVD and a VHS inspired by the All That Is Hidden Beneath album. The DVD and VHS will most likely be entitled "Deeper" and will feature music videos, interviews, outtakes from music videos, featurettes, exclusive videos, cool weblinks, and much much more! The DVD is planned to be released in late Februrary/early March 2004
SOCKBOY COMMENTS ON MUSIC DOWNLOADING!
A recent news magazine entitled "22 Magazine" interviewd many artists (one of them being Sockboy) to tell what they though about file sharing and music downloading, here is what Sockboy had to say about the issue:
"I really couldn't care less if people download my album or music, or buy my album, because the biggest reward for a musician, or artist in genral, is to know they're music, or art. or whatever, is out there, and that people enjoy it, or even get moved by it in some way. I made this album with nothing, and I will be just as glad if I make nothing out of it, but knowing that people liked my music and enjoy it"
SOCKBOY MUSIC VIDEO IDEA REVEALED!
The music video for Sockboy's first single "Man That You Fear" will begin it's filming process soon, the main premisis of the video will feature two people (played by Nicola Cordato and Jordan Williamson), walking down a street, the video will actually go into the thoughts of these two characters depciting their, so to speak, "worst nightmares", and as they bump into each other, their thoughts clash. All this will be depicted in between performance shots of Sockboy himself. Look for the video to hit airwaves on Coulkatt.com, Launch, and MTV2
NEW SOCKBOY MUSIC VIDEO!
The music video for Sockboy's first single "Man That You Fear" is being planned to be shot soon. The video will be directed by Dan and Japeto (directors of the films Coul Katt: Teh Moovee and Retina) and will feature actors/actresses Nichola Cordato and Jordan Williamson, between performance shots of Sockboy. The video idea and plan will be given soon.
SOCKBOY TO STAR AND CONTRIBUTE MUSIC FOR NEW FILM!
Sockboy scores!! The new film called "Retina" (directed by Dan and Japeto) is planned to come out about November 2003. Sockboy will have the main role as a disturbed young man. Also, he will be contributing 2 brand new songs for the soundtrack entitled "Rhetorical" and "Retina". Also, Sockboy will be doing the Main theme to the film.
